Ezoic Vs AdSense

Ezoic Vs AdSense

If you’re a small publisher who’s just starting out with monetizing your online content, platforms like Google’s AdSense do make sense. Almost everyone on Earth has a Google account, and overall, it’s just that easy to use. Plus, you needn’t have to pay Google anything (not counting the revenue share, of course). But as we’ll look at in this comparison of Ezoic vs AdSense, is that still true?

Well, perhaps not, as the advent of premium ad networks like Ezoic means that you have loads more options when it comes to monetization. But at its core, choosing between which platform is the most suitable for displaying ads on your site – it all comes down to how much you can earn. Should that be the case, there are fewer reasons why you should still be relying on AdSense.

In our own experiences going back a year and a half, Ezoic has netted us way more ad revenue, and it’s consistently been out-earning AdSense on every turn. In fact, even other established players like AdThrive or Mediavine have yet to stand a chance against Ezoic’s clever use of AI, machine learning, and computational smarts. Could this be a slam dunk for Ezoic vs AdSense, then?

How Did Our Test Of Ezoic Vs AdSense Began?

Before going any further in looking at Ezoic vs AdSense, let’s first understand our baseline. How did our preferred choice for an ad provider go from the tried and trusted AdSense, to this Ezoic that you may not have ever heard of before? Well, it started back in late 2020, when we had been looking at diversifying and expanding the content strategy on our case study domain.

At the time, the domain itself was quite old, and the content we made there never had any serious pull in ad revenue or traffic. Therefore, it never really encouraged us to push that hard, considering that we’d be earning very little in the way of returns, to begin with. Just for a spot of context, all of September 2020 (yes, all 30 days) netted us just $177 in ad revenue from AdSense.

Ezoic Daily Earnings Example

Plus, that was one of our best months yet, so you can imagine how little we gained prior to that. It changed once we thought about experimenting with another ad provider, where we looked at this company called Ezoic. They had a pretty interesting model and system in place for how monetization worked with ads, so we tried them out. The results were, to put it lightly, astonishing.

Within just a single month (October 2020, and not even the full 31 days, mind you), Ezoic earned us $606 in ad revenue. That’s a roughly 3.5x gain in less than a month, just by switching ad providers! This had allowed us to supplement our income stream, which at the time included sponsorships and affiliates. Plus, we’ve managed to reinvest a huge chunk of those profits into the content.

Who Among Ezoic Vs AdSense Was More Lucrative?

In the months after that, leading up to 2021, and now 2022, that case study domain became what we’d call a perpetual cycle of continued growth. As the previous month’s meaty ad revenue flowed into our account, we reinvested that into more content. We organized a now-larger team of writers and kept commissioning long-form, SEO-focused, and keyword-targeted articles.

From then on out, we could expense the time necessary to focus not only on the quantity but also on the quality of the work we did. Our articles became more fleshed out and polished, as we now had the resources to go after popular keywords and rank higher in the search results. In a fairly short time, that domain of ours became one of the ver y significant in the niche.

We’d put significant effort into researching new keywords and looking into related topics or highly popular search terms. Between that and the subject matter, as well as the refined feel of that new batch of content, it meant that traffic into our domain skyrocketed. With increased organic traffic, earnings from ads subsequently shot up. From there, the cycle repeats itself.

This is all made possible thanks to Ezoic, with its ability to optimize and maximize your ad revenue more effectively compared to competing solutions. This not only includes its direct rivals that also offer premium ads, like Mediavine and AdThrive. In addition to that, it’s a far greater option than AdSense, as we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish all of this with its meager returns.

Do We Have Any Results To Back Up Our Claims On Ezoic Vs AdSense?

But don’t just take our word for it, as we’ve extensively documented the data behind whether this switch to using Ezoic has been a good idea. Our monthly revenue reports detail month-by-month updates on how much we’d be earning in ad revenue from Ezoic. This alone goes back to October 2020, the first month that we made the full 100% migration to Ezoic.

Just for easier comparison, and for you to see how far we’ve come after monetizing with Ezoic, a thorough breakdown might help:

Ezoic Case Study Domain Growth Metrics
Month Traffic EPMV (Earnings Per Thousand Visitors) Total Monthly Revenue
Visits Pageviews Engaged Pageviews
October 2020 35,719 41,272 24,441 $16.97 $606.04

December 2020 45,137 52,249 31,588 $19.99 $902.17
January 2021 55,497 65,674 39,520 $12.60 $699.16
February 2021 52,170 61,038 35,065 $19.80 $1,032.86

September 2021 182,545 209,016 131,008 $38.12 $6,957.84
October 2021 196,213 223,502 143, 260 $36.29 $7,120.05
November 2021 217,309 247,787 155,561 $40.40 $8,779.09
December 2021 247,568 282,644 180,626 $47.66 $11,799.75
January 2022 339,313 389,738 240,188 $34.37 $11,633.07
February 2022 341,089 391,128 240,440 $35.44 $12,087.97

You can see here how our ad revenue rose parabolically by mid-2021, breaching the $5,000 mark in June. Not long thereafter, we then smashed past the $10,000 figure by December. Remember, that domain had only earned $177 for the whole month of September 2020, back when we relied on ads solely from AdSense. It was a mind-boggling rate of growth, with a lot more to come.

How Much Did We Really Earn By Picking Ezoic Vs AdSense?

As of March 2022, our ad revenue kept peaking ever higher, now punching above $15,000. To give you an idea of just how insane it’s been in the last year or so, let’s talk yearly growth. Year-on-year (that’s between Feb-March 2021 and Feb-March 2022), ad revenue grew by a whopping 1,350%. If we’re to look at between October 2020 and Feb-March 2022, that’s around 2,400% in earnings.

Meanwhile, traffic across the board (visits, pageviews, and engaged pageviews) rose roughly 600% throughout that year-on-year Feb-March 2021 to Feb-March 2022 period. These days, our daily ad revenues alone are around $500 to $600. In other words, this means that our ad earnings for each passing day with Ezoic are 3x higher than an entire month’s worth of monetization by AdSense.

Of course, that doesn’t include other variables such as our shift in content strategy and the higher volume of work that we were doing. Nevertheless, if we’d stuck with just AdSense this entire time (without having swapped over to Ezoic), our ad revenue would most likely still be in the single digits. It goes to show how impactful monetizing with Ezoic has been for our publication.

However, that’s not to say that AdSense has been idle. Our monetization strategy adopts the use of Ezoic’s mediation tools. This is where we were able to monetize with Ezoic, alongside AdSense, too. When Ezoic determines in real-time through bidding data that Google can earn you more, it’ll show AdSense ads instead. From the $15,000 that we earned, $2,700 was from AdSense mediation.

What Are The Advantages Of Ezoic Vs AdSense?

There are numerous other advantages (besides much higher ad revenue) to choosing the former in Ezoic vs AdSense…

1. Ezoic Vs AdSense – AI And Machine Learning

With AdSense, you’re working with old-school ad placeholders. This is where you’d create a spot on your site, from which ads would be displayed. Ultimately, the actual placing of these banners, and how effective it would turn out to be, is all down to you.

If you’ve positioned an ad placeholder poorly, you might not get people to see it. You might’ve not added enough ad placeholders, so the total ad revenue would be lower. Or, perhaps the sizing and type of ads that get shown weren’t set correctly, leading to a bad user experience.

That’s the risk you run with conventional ad providers like AdSense. This isn’t the case with Ezoic, as they use AI and machine learning. In essence, you’d still be creating placeholders, before having to manually embed them on your site. Once that’s done, Ezoic’s computation will do the rest.

Ezoic How To Create New Ad Placeholders

Ezoic’s AI will first understand that template that you’ve just set. It’ll try to get to grips with where you’ve placed certain placeholders, their sizing, and type, as well as the number of placeholders on a page. This template would be passed through Ezoic’s AI for testing.

Here, Ezoic’s AI would determine the most optimal layout, varying your placeholders in their sizing, density, placement, and type of ads. It could test upwards of thousands or sometimes millions of combinations. In addition, we have machine learning to up the ad revenue even further.

As more folks visit your site, Ezoic’s machine learning will gauge their interaction with the layout it optimally generated. Consequently, Ezoic would fine-tune the ad layout even further. For example, it might increase the number of ads shown on that page or may alter its positioning.

2. Ezoic Vs AdSense – Automated Ad Management

Speaking of, this process of trial and error from Ezoic’s AI and machine learning could easily boost your site’s ad revenue, as we’ve mentioned earlier. Nonetheless, the benefits go beyond the money you’d make, as it’ll also save you a precious amount of time.

Ezoic’s system does all of this in the background, all of the time. And, it could tailor that ad layout based on individual visitors. For instance, you might see fewer ads or have them placed in different parts of a page compared to us. In doing so, this increases user engagement and interaction.

Turn On Ezoic's Ad Tester

Boosting this is another way how Ezoic could earn you higher ad revenues compared to AdSense. Should you be using AdSense, you’ll have to undertake most of these granular calibrations yourself, which takes quite a lot of time and effort. They do have Auto-Ads that somewhat make automated changes, but it’s very limited.

All the while, Ezoic’s AI and machine learning manage this on the fly. All it takes is investing some time during the initial set-up phase. When you’ve gone through that, everything else is set-it-and-forget-it, with little need for spending hours to reconfigure how your ad placeholders appear.

3. Ezoic Vs AdSense – Incentives And Grants

Unlike AdSense, Ezoic’s premium ad solution offers a lot of financial perks and bonuses for those publishers who’ve made the switch. They have grants that you can apply for, which could help to cover some of the expenses of making new content.

Then, there’s their ad revenue guarantee program, where Ezoic promises that within 30 days, you’d earn at least 25% more in ad revenue compared to its rivals. Otherwise, they’ll pay the difference, in addition to another 25% on top of that!

Ezoic Adsense Mediation Earnings

Therefore, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t at least give Ezoic a try. They even have a throttling feature, where they could let you monetize your site alongside your existing ad provider. Using a split-testing method, Ezoic would let you fairly compare how each network performs.

But what if you’re a smaller site, would Ezoic support you then? Recently, Ezoic introduced its new Access Now initiative. This is a tier designed to onboard new or up-and-comer publishers, with fewer than 10,000 monthly visits, yet still, get the same access as larger sites do.

4. Ezoic Vs AdSense – Extra Services And Tools

While the basic AI and machine learning ad layout testing kit seem quite a lot, Ezoic offers you a whole lot more besides. Here are some of the add-ons you get by signing up for Ezoic:

Ezoic Vs AdSense

  • Leap – This is Ezoic’s proprietary web performance optimization tool. Regularly, it’ll analyze a site’s performance, such as page load times, and make recommendations on how to improve them. With quick-toggle settings, you can immediately remove the junk that slows down your site.
  • Big Data Analytics – Just like AdSense, Ezoic has its own suite of analytics tools. While it might seem similar to Google’s Analytics, Ezoic’s is more in-depth. Here, you can analyze the behavior of your users, and get insight into how your site is doing, as well as countless other metrics.
  • Mediation – As we mentioned earlier, Ezoic has mediation tools to let you earn alongside AdSense. This entire process is automated, and Ezoic will periodically swap out its ads for Google’s when it knows that you could be earning more through AdSense. A win-win in my book.
  • Video Player – A great way to monetize additional content is through making and putting ads on videos. However, YouTube’s monetization might not be enticing enough. For that reason, you can instead host your videos on Ezoic, and run ads on top of that for additional ad revenue.
  • Tag Tester – If you’re like us, you know the value of getting SEO right. This can be tricky, hence why Ezoic’s making it easier with its Tag Tester tool. It’ll test your site’s title tags and URL, and figure out which ones could attract more traffic through organic searches on Google.
  • Cloud Caching – One of the most consequential parts of monetizing our site is caching. Pages that were cached earned 33% more than pages where cache failed to be retrieved. To ensure that your website is more reliably and speedily cached, Ezoic can do this through the cloud.

Was it Worth Switching Over Between AdSense Vs Ezoic?

To conclude our comparison of Ezoic vs AdSense, we have to ask ourselves if it’s worth it. So, is it worth the added expense and complication to move over to Ezoic? Absolutely, as our ad revenue earnings have shown that Ezoic yields you multiples higher than AdSense. While AdSense could earn us just a hundred or two dollars per month, Ezoic has earned us hundreds of dollars every single day recently.

The use of automation, machine learning, and AI has catapulted Ezoic into the best ad providers out there, bar none. By analyzing your website, it could automatically and dynamically vary where ads should be displayed, how many of them to show at once, how large or small should the ad spots be, and the type of ads that show up. It caters to this intelligently for each site visitor, as well.

Ezoic Vs AdSense

As we’ve noted in our Ezoic vs AdSense comparison, this has worked wonders for maximizing how much our ad revenues are. Ezoic could easily place a diverse bunch of ads onto a page to net us higher ad earnings every time. Yet, it does so cleverly, thus improving user engagement and interaction, and with that, enhancing the value of our page and those ads even further.

Additionally, Ezoic could manage all this without severely impacting the user experience, slotting in ads seamlessly to avoid distracting or annoying our audience. Moreover, Ezoic offers an abundance of additional tools and services to help you out with managing your site, optimizing its performance, and so on. With all that in mind, it’s certainly worth migrating over to Ezoic if you’re still using AdSense.

FAQs On Ezoic Vs AdSense

To supplement our guide on Ezoic vs AdSense, here are a few of the most popular frequently asked questions to answer everything you need to know…

What Is Google AdSense

Founded by Google, AdSense is its premier and first-party ad provider solution. In essence, it allows publishers to display advertisements on their website, blog, online business, as well as the network that powers the ads you see on YouTube. It’s the largest ad solution in the world, as more than 40-million sites are monetized with AdSense. However, other providers like Ezoic could pay you more, sometimes 3x more in a single day than what AdSense pays in a whole month.

How Does AdSense Work

Monetizing with Google’s AdSense is pretty easy, hence why it’s so popular. All you need is to link up your Google Account (which presumably most people already have) to AdSense. Once you’ve signed up, you can then integrate your site with AdSense by copying over a simple line of Ad Code. Finally, you’ll have to turn on AdSense’s Auto-Ads, which will automatically embed ads onto your site. Some machine learning computation and AI will automate the placement and sizing of each ad spot.

What Is AdSense Account

If you want to monetize through AdSense, you’ll need an account to do that, with a dashboard for managing their ads. Although linked to your Google Account (which you use for Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, etc.), your AdSense account is separate from this. Once logged in, you can control or fine-tune the ads you see on your site, preview in-depth analytics, and so forth.

How To Make AdSense Account

You can simply type in “AdSense account” in Google, and the first results should immediately direct you to the AdSense website. Here, you can sign up with your main Google account, and get started. The account creation process is quite simple, and AdSense is free to sign up for. Although, you’ll still have to compensate for their services with a revenue share program, where you keep 68% of the ad revenue.

What Is AdSense On YouTube

As we’ve mentioned earlier, AdSense is the primary ad provider for all of YouTube’s services. Should you see an ad banner at the top of your Gmail inbox, that’s AdSense. This also applies to other sites and services like YouTube. When you’re watching a video, you might notice them showing up. They might automatically play at the start, middle, or end of the video, covering your entire screen. Or, perhaps you’d notice those small pop-up banners that appear at the bottom of the video player.

How Does Google AdSense Work

AdSense monetizes your website in a similar manner to other ad providers. Once you’ve agreed to monetize your site and have gone through the integration process, AdSense would embed ads on a page. Its Auto-Ads system would also provide some optimization of the placement and sizing of the ads that appear, automatically. As folks visit your site and scroll past or interact directly with those ads, you’ll earn ad revenue in return.

How To Make Money With Google AdSense

Once you’re ready to monetize your site with ads from Google’s AdSense, you can sign-up and start integrating your site with AdSense. Then, you can turn on Auto-Ads to inject ads onto your site and allow it to accrue ad revenue. This occurs as folks interact or view those ads, although you can earn more with platforms like Ezoic. The best thing about AdSense is the pricing, which is free to use. Be wary that you’ll receive 68% of the ad earnings, the remainder to subsidize your use of AdSense.

How Much Does AdSense Pay

AdSense will pay you in ad revenue based on every 1,000 impressions or pageviews, as a metric to judge how much traffic your site is pulling. In short, the higher the traffic, the more you could earn with monetization through ads. For most publishers that are just starting out, you would likely earn around $2 to $3 for every 1,000 site visitors with AdSense. Meanwhile, Ezoic could easily yield you much more. In our experience, we’re seeing upwards of $40 for every 1,000 visitors with Ezoic.

How Much Does AdSense Pay Per 1000 Views

Once again, how much you could be earning through ad revenue is highly dependent on the traffic that your site is pulling in. The more people visit your site, the higher the chance for at least some among them to interact and view your ads. Subsequently, resulting in higher ad revenues for your website. With AdSense, we remembered earning as high as just $4 per 1000 views in the past. It’s paltry compared to how much Ezoic could be paying you, at least 2x to 3x higher.

How Much Money Can You Make With AdSense

As with every other ad provider, there are never any upper limits to how much you can earn with ad revenue. It could be several hundred a month, or several million at a time. This all depends on how much traffic your site is pulling, and how well Google’s optimizing the display of those ads. If you’d want to earn more in ad revenue, platforms like Ezoic could earn you so much more, sometimes 3x as much or higher.

What Is CTR In AdSense

As you begin looking into your AdSense analytics, you might notice a metric known as CTR. This is otherwise called “click-through rate”. It describes how many people visiting your site have clicked through those ads. This is then usually divided by the number of ad impressions. Altogether, it gives you an idea of how many people have seen an ad. And, comparing it to how many people have felt that the ad was interesting enough to click into them.

What Is RPM AdSense

Another metric that AdSense relies on to gauge your site’s traffic is RPM. Or, it’s also known as the “revenue per thousand”. It’s a means of measuring how much you’re earning in ad revenue for every 1,000 pageviews. You can hop into the AdSense analytics to see how much your site’s RPM is. To get some idea of your total ad revenue, you can multiply your RPM with the overall traffic.

How Much Does Google AdSense Pay Per 1000 Views

Based on our own experiences of having lived with AdSense for a while, their earnings are typically quite low. We’ve seen days when we’d be earning $2, $3, or around $4 for every 1,000 views using AdSense. Once again, this will be dependent on traffic leading into your site, and how many users have seen or interacted with those ads. Even our most popular pages are earning us roughly $10+. Meanwhile, platforms like Ezoic have now allowed us to earn closer to $40 for every 1,000 views.

How Much Does Google AdSense Pay Per Click

Using AdSense, your total ad revenue is measured by the impressions you get from those ads. Plus, AdSense will take into account if people have clicked on those ads, which would help boost the ad revenue. One scenario would be how visitors may click an ad and bought or subscribed to a service and/or product that was advertised in those ads. By default, publishers get 68% of that click value. Although, this might differ based on how much advertisers are willing to pay per click.

How To Increase Google AdSense Revenue In 5 Easy Steps

First and foremost, you should seriously consider alternatives to AdSense, such as Ezoic, whose AI and machine learning computation can earn you so much more than AdSense. Second, you can increase your ad revenue by upping the number of ads that show up on a page. Third, you should look into ways of hastening your site’s page load times. Fourth, you can lengthen your content into long-form pages by its word count. Fifth, try fine-tuning your content further to attract more traffic.

How To Create AdSense Account

To begin, you can try Googling the account creation page, and begin signing up with AdSense. It’s as simple as linking up your existing Google account to get started. Once that’s done, to show ads on your website, you can turn on Auto-Ads in the AdSense dashboard to begin monetization. Google will also inquire about your personal and banking information, but other than that, it’s pretty easy.

How Long Does It Take For Google AdSense Ads To Show Up

Usually, it doesn’t take that long for AdSense to start working. To begin, you’ll have to request approval from Google to have your website monetized with ads from AdSense. Let’s assume that it’s been greenlit, and you’re given the okay to display ads. Should that be the case, all you need to do now is wait for 24 to 48 hours before AdSense ads begin appearing on your website.

How To Add AdSense To WordPress

Integrating your WordPress site with Google’s AdSense is pretty easy. The first step is to turn on the Auto-Ads setting in AdSense. This would generate an Ad Code, which you can copy over to one of two sections of WordPress. Your first option is to copy and paste it into the HTML section of a WordPress page. Or, you can copy and paste it into the header.php file. Either way, this will prompt AdSense to monetize your site by showing ads once it’s gone live.

How To Add AdSense Code To WordPress

First thing’s first, you’ll need to get the Ad Code from Google. So, go to your AdSense dashboard, and click on the ‘Sites’ tab within the left-hand sidebar menu options. Then, click on ‘Add Your Site’, and type in your website’s URL. Copy over that tracking code, go into your WordPress ‘Settings’ page, and locate the ‘Header And Footer Scripts’. Finally, copy that code into the ‘Scripts In Header’ section, and this should allow WordPress and AdSense to show ads on every single page.

How To Add Google AdSense To Wix

As for Wix, you’ll have to head into your AdSense dashboard once again and go into the ‘Ads’ page. Click into ‘Ad Units’, before then clicking ‘New Ad Unit’. Pick out the ideal size of that ad banner, and click on ‘Create’ when you’re all set. The next thing you’ll have to do is copy over the code that was generated, and head into your Wix site. Within the editor, add that code into the HTML section, but you’ll have to make a slight adjustment. You need to add a line (data-page-url=”https://www.domain.com/”) and replace domain.com with your site’s URL.

How To Put AdSense On WordPress

To monetize a WordPress page with AdSense, there are a few ways to go about it. Firstly, you could install plugins that’ll embed ad banners into your site. Or, you could copy the ad tracking code that’s been generated in the AdSense dashboard, and copy it into the HTML section for each page. Yet, the best way to monetize your site with ads is to copy that code into the header settings. This would tell AdSense to monetize every single page on your website, instead of just a single one.

How To Enable AdSense In Blogger

Seeing that Blogger is owned and run by Google, monetizing it with AdSense is pretty easy. When you’ve logged in to your Blogger account, find and click on the ‘Earnings’ tab. Here, you can try to connect your AdSense account. Or, perhaps create a new AdSense account from scratch. Once you’re on the Earnings page, find an option for ‘control how ads are shown…’, and set this to Auto-Ads. You can then spend a bit of time tweaking the layout of the ads before AdSense begins monetization.

How To Use Google AdSense On Tumblr

Following a major update in 2019, you can no longer monetize a Tumblr blog with AdSense. While that update means that ads from AdSense are no longer eligible to be shown, users have discovered some workarounds. Some have tried brute-forcing the AdSense HTML and tracking code into a post. However, this doesn’t always work. And for those instances where it did function, AdSense has since rejected these users’ right to monetization. Therefore, it’s no longer an option now.

How To Add AdSense To Shopify

Technically speaking, you could easily monetize your page on Shopify with AdSense. However, this isn’t a good idea. After all, you can’t easily control what ads might appear from AdSense. Let’s say your store on Shopify sells clothing items. With AdSense monetization, it could easily show ads by competing clothing brands on your own storefront. This increases your rivals’ visibility and might promote or increase their sales instead of yours.

How To Contact Google AdSense

One critical downside of AdSense compared to other platforms like Ezoic is that there’s no easy way to make contact with them. There’s no live support or hotline to immediately ring up a support agent at AdSense or Google. If you have a problem, your first option would be to scour through the community forums for any solutions. Their help center has numerous resources to help you troubleshoot issues, too. If not, you’ll have to click on the ‘Contact Us’ page and submit a support ticket. You’ll then receive an email within 2 business days.

How To Delete AdSense Account

If you no longer want to monetize with AdSense, you could delete your account there. However, you first have to be a qualified Administrator to do so and be eligible to delete said account. If you have the necessary authority, click on the ‘Account’ page within your AdSense dashboard. Now, head over to the ‘Account Information’ tab, and click on ‘Close Account’. While you’re there, review the details, tick every box, and see if you’re allowed to get paid one last time before shutting it down.

How To Change Address In Google AdSense

To update any personal information on AdSense, you need to find and click on the ‘Payments’ page. Next, click on ‘Manage Settings’, and locate the ‘Name And Address’ section. Once that’s done, click on the tiny pencil icon to make changes, and input your new or corrected address. This will be crucial, as AdSense needs your delivery address information for payments to be made.

How To Get Rid Of AdSense

Should you no longer want to monetize your site with AdSense, it’s easy enough to reverse it. First, head over to your AdSense dashboard, and find the ‘Account’ page. Now, remove your website’s URL from the ‘Approved Sites’ section. When you’re done here, you can start deleting any AdSense plugins or tracking code that you’ve integrated your site with. This will tell AdSense to stop showing ads on your site.

How To Remove Google AdSense

First, log into your AdSense dashboard, and find the ‘Sites’ page. If you no longer want to show ads from AdSense on your site, turn off the Auto-Ads setting. This would turn off any monetization that you’ve activated for your website. Finally, remove your site’s URL from this list while you’re within your AdSense dashboard. You’re then good to delete the ad tracking code or plugins that you’ve used to integrate your site with AdSense.

How To Close AdSense Account

If you don’t want to monetize your site with AdSense anymore, you can hop into your dashboard. From here, click on ‘Account Information’, and locate the ‘Close Account’ button. Should this option not be available, this means that you’re not eligible to shut down your AdSense account. You first have to be an Administrator to do this. If you’re thinking of transitioning over to a new ad provider, consider solutions like Ezoic to help optimize your ad revenue.

How To Get Google AdSense Approval

It’s worth noting that not every site could be monetized with AdSense. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll have to add the URL of the site that you plan on monetizing into your AdSense dashboard. Now, you need to ask for approval from Google, where they’ll make sure that your site complies with its policies. If you’ve been denied, make sure that your site has a good amount of traffic. And, that’s it’s at least 6 months old, and doesn’t host any illegal or objectionable content. When you’re done making changes, you can request another approval.

How Long Does AdSense Review Take

After you’ve submitted your website for approval from Google, it’ll take some time for them to review and approve it. On their end, they’ll need to make sure that your site is eligible for monetization, and could display ads from Google. For the most part, your site has to comply with Google’s advertising policies. This review process could take anywhere between 1 week to 1 month.

Why Google AdSense Reject Me How To Fix

Your site has to meet Google’s advertising criteria and requirements before you can monetize it by displaying ads through AdSense. Otherwise, Google would be in a lot of trouble if they hosted ads on sites that had questionable content. For that reason, you might be rejected for several reasons. It could be that your content isn’t of good quality. Alternatively, Google may have found that the site contained illegal content. Google may also reject your site if it’s too fresh, and hasn’t yet pulled in enough traffic.

How Many Pageviews Do I Need For AdSense

One of the advantages of AdSense is its approachability, as it has no minimum traffic requirements that you’ll have to meet before you can begin monetizing with them. However, AdSense might not permit monetization if your site is too new, or the monthly traffic is too low. Otherwise, the criteria that Google imposes should be accessible for most sites. Your publication needs to be unique, you’ll have to be at least 18 years of age, and you must comply with Google’s advertising policies.

How To Qualify For AdSense

AdSense, just like Ezoic, makes monetizing through its platform approachable, even for smaller sites that don’t yet have a lot of traffic. Therefore, AdSense doesn’t have a minimum requirement for the site’s pageviews. To qualify, Google has to make sure that you’re at least 18 years old. And, that you agree to monetize through AdSense while complying with Google’s advertising policies.

How Old Do You Have To Be To Use AdSense

Google’s AdSense has some requirements that you’ll have to meet before you can monetize your site with them. Among them is your age, where you must be at least 18 years of age. It’s necessary to be this old, as both you and Google will have to be dealing with banks to receive your ad revenue.

When Does AdSense Pay

Once you’ve proceeded with monetizing your website with AdSense, Google will start tracking the ad revenues over a one-month period. By the end of that month, Google will then make those earnings available for withdrawal. The payment itself is typically issued between the 21st and the 26th of that same month.

When Does AdSense Update Balance

Across an entire month, Google would provide estimates as to how much your AdSense ad revenue might look like by the end of that month. In addition, it’ll keep track of ad earnings on those days that have already been processed. The final balance will be counted and updated by the end of that month. You can then make a withdrawal between the 21st and the 26th of that same month.

How To Withdraw Money From AdSense

You’ll have to make sure that your financial and banking details are correct and up to date. For the withdrawal process, you have two options. The first would be manually transferring the sum over to your bank account. Within the AdSense dashboard, click on ‘Payment Settings’, and type in all your banking details. AdSense will deposit the money within a couple of business days. The second option, and once you’ve made this one manual transfer, is by setting it to automatically deposit to that same bank account.

How To Reach Payment Threshold In AdSense

Unfortunately, you can’t just withdraw any sum out of your AdSense account. There’s a minimum payment threshold set to $100. If you need to reach this barrier, you’ll have to wait until your site’s gained enough traffic and for ad revenue to keep growing. You could try upping your pageviews, or maybe you could tweak AdSense to show more ads on your site.

How To Link AdSense To PayPal

When you’re ready to withdraw your ad revenue from AdSense, log in to your AdSense dashboard, and click on ‘Payments’. Once you’re on the Payments page, click on ‘Manage Payment Options’, and click on ‘Add Payment Option’. Alas, Google doesn’t support PayPal for withdrawals. With that said, you could always withdraw your ad earnings into your bank account, and re-route them back to your PayPal wallet.
